The Green Terror is a stunning South American cichlid famous for its vibrant metallic colors and bold personality. It is a favorite among experienced hobbyists looking for a centerpiece fish with character.
Moderate care level. These fish require a spacious aquarium with efficient filtration and regular water changes to manage waste levels as they grow.
Omnivorous and opportunistic feeders. They thrive on a varied diet of high-quality cichlid pellets, frozen foods, and occasional live treats.
Highly territorial and aggressive, especially as they mature. They are not suitable for community tanks with small or peaceful fish. Best kept with other large, robust South American cichlids or large catfish.
Prefers clean, well-oxygenated freshwater with stable parameters.
