Ember Tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae) is a popular, fiery orange nano fish native to the Araguaia River basin in Brazil. Growing to a maximum size of just 0.8 to 1.2 inches, these highly social schooling fish are a favorite for live-planted aquariums. Their translucent, amber bodies deepen to a rich reddish-orange when kept in optimal conditions with dark substrate and plenty of live vegetation.
