TE-260 Plug-In Timer

The TE-260 Plug-In Timer is a 24-hour mechanical segment timer used to automatically turn household and commercial appliances on and off.

How to Set Up and Use the TE-260

Setting up your mechanical timer takes only a few quick steps:

Step 1: Set the Current Time
Rotate the main outer dial clockwise until the small arrow pointer matches the current time of day. (Note: Mechanical timers typically use a 24-hour format, so 2:00 PM will be 14:00).
Step 2: Program Your Schedule
Locate the small push-pins (segments) around the edge of the dial. Push the pins down for the time frames you want your device to turn ON. Leave the pins pulled up for the times you want the device to stay OFF.
Step 3: Set the Side Switch
Make sure the switch on the side of the timer is flipped to the Clock/TIMER mode icon. If it is set to ON, it will bypass your schedule and feed electricity constantly.
- Step 4: Plug it In
  Plug your appliance directly into the front of the TE-260, ensure the appliance's own physical power switch is turned to ON, and then plug the timer into your wall outlet.
Important Application Note

This timer is designed strictly for analog or simple electrical appliances that resume operating automatically as soon as they receive electricity (such as lamps, fans, aquarium lights, and simple coffee makers). It will not work properly for modern digital devices that require you to physically press a digital power button after being plugged back in.
