A striking variegated variety of the classic Water Wisteria, known for its unique white or cream patterns on deeply lobed green leaves. It adds exceptional texture and color contrast to freshwater aquariums.
Generally easy to maintain, though the variegated form requires more consistent lighting than the standard green variety to keep its bright patterns. Regular pruning helps maintain its shape.
Medium to high lighting is essential. Lower light levels may cause the plant to lose its variegation and turn solid green.
Best placed in the background or midground of the aquarium. Its bushy growth provides excellent hiding spots for small fish and shrimp.
Simple to propagate by taking stem cuttings. Simply cut a healthy stem and replant it into the substrate to establish a new plant.
