Micro Sword is a popular grass-like plant that creates a lush green carpet in the aquarium foreground. It is highly valued for its ability to mimic a natural lawn underwater.
This plant is moderately easy to care for but requires consistent conditions. It benefits greatly from nutrient-rich substrate and regular pruning to maintain its carpet-like form.
Requires medium to high lighting to prevent the plant from growing too tall and to encourage horizontal spreading.
Best suited for the foreground. Plant in small clumps spaced about 1-2 cm apart to allow the runners to fill in the gaps effectively.
Propagates naturally through runners that spread across the substrate. These can be cut and replanted to start new growth areas.
