Usage Instructions

Rinse the sand thoroughly in a bucket using RO/DI or dechlorinated water until the runoff is mostly clear.
Place the sand into the aquarium before filling, or use a large PVC pipe to direct sand to the bottom of an established tank.
Spread evenly to a depth of 1-2 inches for standard reef setups, or deeper if keeping specific burrowing species.
If adding to an active tank, turn off pumps temporarily to allow the substrate to settle.
