Freshwater Planted Aquarium Project – La Casa Hotel Lobby – 2016

In 2014, our team successfully designed and installed a custom freshwater planted aquarium for the lobby of La Casa Hotel, creating a vibrant and elegant aquatic centerpiece that enhanced the hotel’s interior atmosphere and guest experience.

The aquarium was carefully engineered with advanced filtration, water circulation, and lighting systems to support healthy plant growth and maintain stable water conditions for freshwater aquatic life. Natural aquascaping elements, including aquatic plants, decorative hardscape materials, and substrate systems, were thoughtfully arranged to create a balanced and visually captivating underwater landscape.

Special attention was given to the integration of the aquarium within the hotel lobby environment, ensuring seamless coordination with the architectural and interior design elements of the space. All equipment and life-support components were selected to provide reliable long-term performance, energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance.

From concept development and aquascape design to installation, testing, and commissioning, our team delivered a fully functional and aesthetically refined freshwater ecosystem designed to serve as a distinctive focal point within the hotel environment.
