Usage Instructions

Rinse the media thoroughly with aquarium water or dechlorinated water before use to remove any transport dust.
Place the media into a fine-mesh media bag or directly into the biological chamber of your filter.
Position Bio Trix after mechanical filtration (sponges/pads) to prevent debris from clogging the pores.
To preserve bacterial colonies, always rinse media in old aquarium water during maintenance, never tap water.
